This is a Wiki about (one-of) the Nebel families. There are many Nebel families, but this wiki is about one of them. Ours. If any of it offends someone, don't read it. Simples.

Nebel is the German word for fog and stellar nebula. It is related to the Latin nebula.

As far as we know, the origins of this Nebel family are Prussian.

Much of this history, and really the inspiration to record and not loose all this, comes from a fountain of knowledge, my mother ... Yvonne Nebel (nee Crofford). As her eyesight is failing and her computer skills are non-existent, I have entered most of it on her behalf - so don't blame her for bad grammar and english ... and don't blame me for content! 😀 My cunning plan is to get a few other younger family members to add to this... so blame them.
